The City of El Dorado, KS partnered with candid to create an economic development attraction campaign to target specific industries. candid created a brand for the campaign to keep all outreach materials consistent. Drawing inspiration from El Dorado lake, the mark is a stylized water drop with arrows showing movement upward.

This project was an integrated campaign to attract data centers while educating and communicating the benefits of locating to the KCP&L service territory. To ensure consistent messaging, candid created a targeted sales lead campaign, including a custom landing page and personalized automated marketing email blasts.
The KCDC mark was designed to simplify the message – KC is the location for DCs. The campaign’s theme, “Powerful. Proven. Protected.” defines the value proposition.

The “new” LOIS platform provided a reason to strategically rebrand the existing identity by modernizing the creative platform, refreshing and streamlining the brand message and highlighting the new features and benefits, as well as the competitive advantages.
The goal of the national launch campaign was to formally introduce the “new” LOIS to current users and subscribers. candid incorporated the new creative elements and refreshed messaging from the rebrand and included the competitive advantages of the next generation of the LOIS platform.

candid was engaged by BNSF Railway and NorthPoint Development to develop an identity, marketing program and website for Logistics Park Kansas City (LPKC), which is one of BNSF’s largest site selection attraction projects and one of the largest economic development projects in the state of Kansas.
We also created a comprehensive collateral package, a communications and public relations plan geared toward corporate real estate executives and site selection consultants that highlights the features and benefits of the project along with community and regional attributes — all designed to drive business attraction.
